Our engineer, Billy Theriot, is highly experienced in recording ADR, voiceover, sound editorial, and as a re-recording mixer. For 11 years, he engineered hundreds of ADR and voiceover sessions at Swelltone Labs in New Orleans. Among the many sessions, he was the ADR mixer/recordist on every episode of the critically-acclaimed HBO series Treme. And the ADR mixer/recordist for the Academy Award best picture nominee Beasts of the Southern Wild, where he was nominated for the Best Sound Editing: Dialogue and ADR in a Feature Film for the 2013 MPSE Golden Reel Awards. Billy's credits for sound effects, Foley, dialog editing, and re-recording mixer include more than 45 feature films, documentaries, and television series. Among those, he has been a Foley, group ADR, and sound effects editor on most of Academy Award-winning Steven Soderbergh's films from 2005 to 2023, including Behind The Candelabra for HBO, which won 11 Emmys, including best sound mixing. He also has extensive experience in every aspect of post sound from turnover through the final mix and M&E, including all versions for final delivery.
